BUILD MY / BRANDS · FIELD GUIDE

Build a brand people can explain.

Start with the promise, the person, and the proof. The visual identity comes after that.

Choose who needs you

“Everyone” is a difficult audience to build for. Start with one person facing one meaningful problem. Describe what they are trying to achieve, what is getting in their way, and what they have already tried.

Make the promise specific

Complete this sentence: We help [person] move from [current problem] to [desired outcome] through [approach]. Use language a customer would use in a conversation. Then ask someone outside your business to explain the offer back to you.

Build evidence into the message

Support the promise with a demonstration, a sample, or a documented process. If you do not have customer results yet, show how the work would happen. A clear example is more useful than an unsupported superlative.

Keep building with us.
